Universe Today Podcasts

I’ve been thinking of adding an audio component to Universe Today for several years now – I’m a huge fan of radio, especially science radio shows, so this was just inevitable. Many people have been nagging me to start up a Podcast, so I’m finally getting around to it. I’ve got a short audio interview I did today with Scott Gaudi at the Harvard Smithsonian Centre for Astrophysics about Sedna’s lack of a moon. This is just an experiment, but I aim to start running a more regular show in the coming weeks that gives you additional information to go along with the stories I cover in Universe Today. If you have any feedback or ideas, let me know.

I’ve set up the RSS link so you can automatically download this and upcoming episodes. Just copy-paste the following link: universetoday.com/audio.xml into your feed software.

If you’ve heard the term Podcast and you have no idea what I’m talking about… essentially you subscribe to various audio programs so they automatically download to your computer whenever they’ve been updated. You can listen to these shows on your computer or transfer them to your portable MP3 player to listen while you’re out and about. You download a program like: ipodder which lets you subscribe to various shows.

If you’re interested and you run into any stumbling blocks, just drop me an email and I’ll talk you through it.

Thanks!
