An Astronaut’s Eye View of Shuttle Endeavour on the Launchpad

A great picture of shuttle Endeavour sitting on launchpad 39A at Kennedy Space Center, taken by Mike Fincke as he and his crewmates arrived in Florida yesterday to prepare for Endeavour’s final launch, scheduled for Friday.

Update: Another view, below.

Here's another view, including an additional T-38 from astronaut Terry Virts.

  1. Can we get a picture from the entrance of the Shuttle on the launchpad? That’s an Astronaut’s view, from the Astronauts who are actually on Endeavor.

    1. Well, if you can get one of our photographers a ride in a T-38 over the launchpad, we’d be happy to provide a view showing the shuttle. But for now, we’ll have to take what we can get from a Tweeting astronaut.
