With Mars missions reasonably in sight, Stephen Hawking's death highlighting one his many beliefs that we should colonize deep space and Elon Musk's determination to minimize waste on space travel, together with reborn visions of 'bolt-on' accessories to the ISS (the Bigelow expandable module) conjures some imaginative concepts."
