De hecho, hay dos lunas en el Sistema Solar que, en realidad, tienen un diámetro más grande que Mercurio. La mayor luna en el Sistema Solar es la luna de Júpiter, Ganimedes, con un diámetro de 5.268 km y la segunda luna más grande es la luna de Saturno Titán, con un diámetro de 5.152 km.
