Virtual Star Party - March 9, 2014: James' Intimate View of the Moon

Hosts: Fraser Cain & Scott Lewis Astronomers: James McGee, Gary Gonella, Tom Nathe, Russell Bateman & Peter Lake

Bad skies and "Cosmos Interference" for most folks tonight, but we do have the moon from James McGee! Then Russell brings the moon as well. And then Peter saves the day bringing the Orion Nebula and the comet that's buzzing Mars, making it not just a lunar show! The Horsehead Nebula with a passing satellite was another of Peter's gorgeous views.

We hold the Virtual Star Party every Sunday night as a live Google+ Hangout on Air. We begin the show when it gets dark on the West Coast. If you want to get a notification, make sure you circle the
