Simply Stunning Aurora Video from Norway

spent a week capturing what he called "one of the biggest aurora borealis shows in recent years," and the results are simply stunning. The footage was shot in and around Kirkenes and Pas National Park in the very north part of Norway, which borders Russia, at 70 degree north and 30 degrees east. Temperatures were around -25 Celsius, Sorgjerd said.

Nancy Atkinson is a space journalist and author with a passion for telling the stories of people involved in space exploration and astronomy. She is currently retired from daily writing, but worked at Universe Today for 20 years as a writer and editor.
