    Regarding the article in the New York Times “Dark, Perhaps forever”

    Couldn’t the differing affect of gravity (from the core of the Universe) on the bodies at the edge versus those closer in – explain why the bodies at the edge seem to be accellerating? Gravity has more affect on the bodies closer in so they would be slower than those at the edge. Viewed from the core the outer edge would appear to be accelerating away from us and from the edge looking accross the core to the other edge it would look to be moving even faster. Could this difference in the effect of gravity be the Dark enegy? Thanks for reading this. Terry Flannery
