  1. I disagree that it will be better than whatever was before. Instead it must be better than the existing Cosmos. I will be very surprised to see the new Cosmos be something I want to watch because I have been turned off by the host. His lack of support for SpaceX, in fact his attempted sabotage of SpaceX, has left me thinking all sorts of negative things about him. When I see the new Cosmos I’l be emotionally looking for things to dislike. And the fact that I have seen the original Cosmos countless times, have it on all my computers, and the book it will be very hard.

By the way CGI done right can be of a very great help. Always using CGI for proper context helps dramatically.

  2. I have been visiting this website daily for over 1 year now. I usually noticed the Weekly Space Hangout links; however, today was the first day that I actually decided to click on one of them and watch it through. You guys rule. I loved it and I am definitely hooked. You all seem like really cool, fun, and super smart people. I love the dynamic in the group. I wanted to post this message here to encourage all of you to keep doing this for people like me who really enjoyed it.

Good job Fraser, for making this a fun and interesting video that keeps the viewer entertained throughout the entire hour.

Props to all of you for participating.
