• 47th and Regal, and also the Shadle Library - 7:30 pm, August 27, September 20 - The Spokane Astronomical Society will host Mars viewing for the public on August 27th at 47th and Regal, and at the Shadle Library. On September 20, we will have a Farewell-to-Mars-Gaze behind Moran School, 57th and Glenrose. 7PM to 11PM. Events are free and open to public. More info

Tri-Cities

• LIGO facility - 9:00 pm, August 29 - The LIGO facility will also have tours from 7-9 before Mars viewing. Lectures on Mars' history, geology, meteorites, and views from Rattlesnake Mt. Observatory will be held at Battelle Aug. on Saturday, Aug 23 begining at 7:30 pm. More info
