Great Falls

• Observatory Park - 7:30 pm, August 27 - The Analemma Society, Northern Virginia Astronomy Club (NOVAC), and the Fairfax County Public Schools planetariums will host a Mars observing event at Observatory Park, near the intersection of Georgetown Pike and Springvale Road. Many nice telescopes will be available to look through and attendees are encouraged to bring their own telescopes. The Park will be open until at least midnight, weather permitting. More info
