- Powell Observatory - 10:00 pm, August 29/30 - Park in the East Tennessee State University campus, and take a shuttle ride to the adjacent Powell Observatory.
Knoxville
- Holsten City Park - 5:30 pm, September 6, 13 - The Knoxville Observers will be holding public observing sessions at Holsten city Park in Knoxville around 5:30PM-untill on the 6th and 13th of September. We will be observing the Sun, Mars, the Moon and other objects WEATHER PERMITTING (If it doesn't cloud out).
