Moratuwa Katubedda

• Arthur C. Clarke Institute's Observatory - 8:00 pm, August 27/28 - We have planned to organize public events for Mars observing. Additionaly we have been capturing images of Mars. (Unfortunately the weather condition is not good) We planned to project the Mars image on to a large screen. 45cm GOTO cassegrain reflector,12" Meade LX 200 reflector,8" celestron reflector (this is the telescope Sir Arthur had been using long time ago) and Phillips Toucam camera are the few of instruments we are using. Sri Lankan media will cover the event under the guidence of Dr. Chandana Jayarathna (senior lecturer university of Colombo) More info
