A note from Fraser...

Just a quick one today; not much happening out there in space. If you want to watch the spacewalk today, including the very cool "helmet cam", watch NASA TV. If you don't have a satellite dish, you can watch it on the web.

NASA has a list of links that provide a feed:

LEAKY AIRLOCK EXTENDS MISSION
-------------------------
NASA managers have added an extra day to mission STS-104 to give the astronauts time to fix a leaky ventilation valve and blocked water line on the new airlock they installed over the weekend. Although the astronauts were able to fix the water line, they could only temporarily cap the valve - it will probably need a replacement part from an upcoming shuttle mission. Atlantis is now scheduled to undock from the International Space Station on Sunday, July 22 and land on Tuesday, July 24.

ODYSSEY IS HALFWAY TO MARS
-------------------------
NASA's 2001 Mars Odyssey Probe passed the halfway point yesterday on its 200-day voyage to the Red Planet. Once it reaches Mars on October 24, 2001, Odyssey will study the planet from orbit, looking for evidence of water, and developing mineral maps of the surface. NASA says the spacecraft is in excellent condition, and report no problems with it right now.
