Using the Isaac Newton Telescope in the Canary Islands, an international team of astronomers found a faint streak of stars in the outer regions of Andromeda that lead to the galaxy's nearby companion (its latest victim) like a trail of breadcrumbs. This news was published in the journal Nature. For the next six weeks, a series of teams will test the tools and technology that will eventually help pave the way for a human mission to the planet Mars. The study, published in the Journal of Nutrition focused on the health of two NASA astronauts who spent several months on board the Mir space station. The study will help NASA tightly control what future astronauts eat and help offset some of the health conditions that occur during long-duration spaceflight.
