SHUTTLE LANDING DELAYED BY HIGH WINDS ------------------------- Although the space shuttle Discovery was originally supposed to land on Sunday, high runway crosswinds at Cape Canaveral kept the shuttle in orbit for an additional day. Unfortunately, the winds are even stronger today, so the landing has been shifted to Edwards Air Force Base in California. NASA tries to avoid Edwards, because of the costs to transport the shuttle back to Florida. Discovery is expected to touch down at 8:53pm GMT. This announcement came in spite of the fact that Netherlands-based MirCorp is attempting to raise money for the station through selling shares on the public markets - and American Dennis Tito has agreed to pay $20 million for a trip to the station next year.
