A Russian Progress unmanned cargo spacecraft will launch to the station on October 16 to bring fuel and other supplies - it will also boost Mir's orbit to prevent from entering the Earth's atmosphere. All this despite the rumours that the Russian government has almost approved a plan to deorbit the station. High winds and rain from Tropical Storm Keith could force a shutdown of the Johnson Space Center, but right now the storm's predicted course brings it much further south.
