Does Venus Have Moons?

Here's a question. Since it's the Earth's twin, and we've got a moon, does Venus have moons?
Nope, Venus doesn't have any moons. That's pretty strange when you think about it. Even Mars and Pluto have moons.
And the Earth's Moon is believed to have been formed when a Mars-sized planet crashed into the Earth and flung out a cascade of material that collected into the Moon.
Astronomers think that Mars' moons, Phobos and Demos are captured asteroids.
With the number of objects buzzing around in the early Solar System, some astronomers think it's almost impossible that Venus never got hit by a large object. It's possible that Venus had a moon early on in its history, but it drifted away over the billions of years. One bit piece of evidence that Venus got a big impact early on is the fact that it seems to rotate backwards compared to the other planets in the Solar System.
It's possible that it had an asteroid moon in the past like Mars' moon Phobos. Since the orbit of Phobos is constantly dropping down, and it will eventually crash, it's possible that something similar happened to Venus in the past. However, there aren't as many asteroids in the Venus orbit as there are in the Martian orbit.
Venus might have had a moon or moons in the past, but it doesn't have them today.
