Last February 25, 2012, a lot of us witnessed a beautiful sighting featuring our very own Moon together with planet Jupiter and Venus. We’ve collected some of those amazing conjunction photos submitted to us through Flickr and the Bad Astronomy and Universe Today forum.

Neil Ghosh took this picture of the conjunction of Jupiter, Moon and Venus on February 26, 2012. He used a Sony DSC-HX9V camera.
Chris Christopherson was able to obtain a photo of the Moon, Venus and Jupiter with Pleiades. He captured this image on February 26, 2012. Here are the camera specs provided by Chris:

Gadied submitted this image through the Bad Astronomy and Universe Today forum. The image was taken from Israel.
“It is interesting to see that the 7 hours difference between Israel and the US produce so different photos. In Israel, the moon was more or less in the middle between Jupiter and Venus, but in the US, 7 hours and 3-4 degree later, it was much nearer to Jupiter!”

Here’s another picture of the conjunction taken by Hellobozos on February 25, 2012 around 7 to 8 pm in Orlando, Florida.
Jason Hill captured this image of the conjunction on February 26, 2012. Venus is on the lower part of the photo. Jason used a Canon 50D camera on a tripod with a 24mm lens.
This photo was taken by Raymond Gilchrist on February 24, 2012 using a Canon EOS 350D Digital. Aside from Venus, Jupiter and the Moon, the International Space Station is also evident in the picture.
Fernando Corrada took this image on February 26, 2012 using a Nikon 1 V-1 camera with the 10-30- mm standard zoom lens mounted on a tripod with a wireless remote in South Burlington, Vermont.
Fernando also provided the camera specs he used:

Tom Bushey captured this photo of the conjunction of planets Jupiter (top left), Venus (center), and the crescent Moon on February 23, 2012 in Middletown, New York.
Last but definitely not the least, here’s another picture of the conjunction of Venus, Moon, and Jupiter. It was captured by Ken Lord in Canada on February 25, 2012. He used a Canon T1i camera on a Monopod set at 2 second exposure, F4.5, ISO1600, 37mm.
