New Cool Stars
You’ve heard of a ‘rouge’s gallery’, well, here on Universe Today we have assembled a stars gallery for your enjoyment. It is a compilation of the best images of different stars in the night sky. We thought that you might enjoy all of these images at least once and others might be interesting enough for you to use them as a wallpaper on your personal computer or laptop.
Many of the images are accompanied by a description of what is seen in the image as well as a short description of where the star is located in the sky and, in some instances, which telescope was used to create the image. Many of these images can be enlarged and set as the background for your computer. You can create an image gallery and set them to change at a determined time elapsed to create a slide show of your favorite images.
At the end of each image collection you will find several additional links that will take you to vital information about stars, their formation, life span, and eventual death. As you find a star image that interests you, enter its name into the search bar on our site and you will find plenty of additional information.
