Here’s a nice view of Houston, Texas at night as seen from the International Space Station on February 28, 2010. This photo was taken by the crew member of the Expedition 22 mission. Houston, Texas is the world’s energy capital.
Here’s a nice picture of Dubai at night taken on September 11, 2009 by the crew member of the Expedition 20 mission. Dubai is situated in the southern portion of the Persian Gulf on the Arabian Peninsula.
Here’s a nice view of Buenos Aires at night. This photo was taken on February 8, 2003 by the Expedition 6 crew member onboard the International Space Station. Buenos Aires is the capital and largest city in Argentina.
Here’s a nice view of Los Angeles, California taken on the night of March 10, 2003 by the Expedition 6 astronauts. Los Angeles, also known as the “City of Angels” is the second largest city in the United States.
This is a nice view from space of São Paulo, Brazil at night. São Paulo is the largest city in South America. The image was taken by an astronaut onboard the International Space Station during the Expedition 6 mission on April 12, 2003.
