This is a nice image of Lake Tiberia, also known as the Sea of Galilee located in the northern Israel. This image was taken from the International Space Station on August 15, 2009 during the Expedition 20 mission.

This image of Mt. Saint Helens was captured by the STS-111 crew member onboard the space shuttle Endeavour. The picture also provides a nice view of the Spirit Lake.

This is an image of oil spills in the Lake Maracaibo mainly due to wastes dumped by ships and pipeline leakages. This photo was taken during the Expedition 14 mission on February 23, 2007. The city of Maracaibo is also visible in the image.

Egypt's Lake Nasser

Here’s a high quality photo of the Lake Nasser taken from the International Space Station by Expedition 10 Commander Leroy Chiao. It was taken in January 23, 2005. Lake Nasser which can be found in Egypt is 550 km long and 35 km across.
