Here’s a picturesque view of the Saint Helena Island from space. This was taken by an astronaut on May 7, 2009 during the Expedition 19 mission. Saint Helena Island is located in the South Atlantic Ocean.
This is a nice view of Gibraltar Bay located in the Western Mediterranean Sea. This image was taken from the International Space Station on October 30, 2006 by a crew member of the Expedition 14 using a digital camera. The bay is also known as Algeciras Bay.
This is an image of the Upsala Glacier located in the Los Glaciares National Park, Argentina. This amazing photo was taken by an astronaut on October 25, 2009 during the Expedition 21 mission.
Here’s a nice view of New York city and East Coast city at night. This photo was obtained on January 18, 2003 from the International Space Station by an astronaut during the Expedition 6 mission.
Here’s a nice photo of the freshwater lakes of the Ounianga Basin located in the Sahara Desert. The photo was taken from the International Space Station on November 14, 2009 during the Expedition 21 mission.
