Here’s a full view of the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit taken by Spirit’s panoramic camera during the sol 583 to 586 or in earth days, August 24-27, 2005. Spirit is just one of the two exploration rovers of NASA’s Mars Exploration Rover Mission. The other one is Opportunity.
Very Dusty Solar Panel on Spirit, Sol 1811
This image of the dusty solar panel of the Spirit rover was taken by its navigation camera on February 5, 2009 (1811th sol). Solar panels are essential components for the operation of the exploration rover.
Spirit's Record Road Trip
This is an image of the path taken by the Spirit rover taken on February 9, 2004 (sol 37) using the camera installed in front of the rover. This camera is used to see the possible hazards or obstructions on the way.
Spirit Back in Action
This is an image of Spirit’s hand in front of the Martian rock known as Adirondack. Adirondack is Spirit’s first target rock in their study the past environmental conditions of Mars.
Spirit Digs A Trench
This image features Spirit’s excavation activity in the area called “Laguna Hollow” during the 47th sol. This trench digging activity is part of the remote study to determine if water once existed in Mars.
