This image of the internal waves(solitons) of Indian Ocean was captured on November 1991 from the International Space Station during STS-44 mission of the space shuttle Atlantis.
This image of the Sea of Crete was obtained during the STS-61A mission on November 1985. The Sea of Crete is situated south of the Aegean Sea, above the Crete island.
The image you can see above is the eastern Mediterranean Sea taken from the International Space Station in June 1993 during the STS-57 mission. Mediterranean Sea is technically a part of the Atlantic Ocean.
This image of an iceberg seen floating along the South Atlantic Ocean was taken during the STS-48 mission of the space shuttle Discovery on September 1991.
Here’s an image of the Atlantic Ocean obtained from the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) April 29, 2004. MODIS is just one of the imaging instruments flying aboard NASA’s Terra satellite. Another MODIS instrument can also be found on NASA’s Agua satellite.
