Here are some pictures of astronauts.
This is the classic image of Buzz Aldrin walking on the surface of the Moon during the Apollo 11 moon landings mission. This picture was taken by Commander Neil Armstrong, the first person to set foot on the Moon.
Here’s a picture of Apollo 16 Commander John Young jumping and saluting from the surface of the Moon. You can see the lunar module Orion in the background, as well as the Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV) or lunar rover.
During mission STS-64, Astronaut Mark C. Lee tested out the newly developed SAFER (Simplified Aid for EVA Rescue) system for extravehicular activities.
This picture of astronauts was taken during mission STS-116. This was during the first of three spacewalks, when astronauts Robert L. Curbeam, Jr. and Christer Fuglesang worked on the construction of the International Space Station.
