Hmm . . . is it possible that this cosmic 'magnetic field' mystery is over-powering gravity and driving the 'expansion on a scale we haven't explored mathematically?' Maybe similar to simple 'magnetic like-polarity repulsion.'

Hannes Alfvén predicted galactic magnetic fields in 1937 ("Cosmic Radiation as an Intra-galactic Phenomenon", Ark. f. mat., astr. o. fys. 25B, no. 29.) because PLASMA pervade space that could carry electric currents.

Bill Davis Says: It means that we have to consider how magnetic fields are generated, that is to say, as the result of current flow.

Response: Precisely! Plasma is not a permanent magnet. Current flow must be taken into account.

The density of the overall EMF was much greater in the early Universe which is expanding at an accelerating rate & therefore the EMF is now weaker due to that expansion.
