Thats intense. But I know that the new manual or whatever thing is being re-made but I think that drinking shouldn't be going on between 1- 2 weeks before launch. Why? Because it is probably a fustrating time for everyone in the area at that at time. Astronauts do really need to relax at that time aswell. Well I hope you take in the consideratin of no drinking with-in 1-2 weeks( it would make sense) Wow ! Thats intense. Not to mention annoying people who obviously have work to do and not enough money to do it all. Don't get me wrong it's important that they are not intoxicated when they do serve our country and go into space. But I think they know that they, their crew, and the future of NASA rests in the fact they know they are not suposed to get drunk before a mission. mmm more wasted money and time out of Nasa's already tight budget.
