World Space Week Highlights
Written by Fraser Cain
I've had a few questions about what kinds of events are going on for World Space Week. First, I suggest you visit their website at http://www.spaceweek.org. The full list of events, broken down by country is available here. Probably the biggest highlight of the event will be a live webcast about the International Space Station on Thursday October 9 at 1700-1800 GMT (1:00-2:00pm EDT). You can read more about this on the web here.
An interview with the crew of the station already happened earlier today, but NASA is going to be replaying it several times today on NASA TV. Here's the NASA TV schedule (it'll be broadcast in the "Education" time slot), and links to NASA TV on the web.
Enjoy!
